This is a legendary illusion with a puzzling finish.
A girl is placed in a kneeling position on a small altar and is covered with a cloth. Audience can see under altar and can see girl move after she is covered, yet when the cloth is whisked away, the girl has vanished. She suddenly appears in the audience and comes running up the aisle to the stage.
