After A card, say the Queen of Hearts , has been selected, it is cut with scissors into four pieces of V9 equal size by the person who took the card.
Taking these pieces from the spectator, the conjurer throws them into the air, in which the pieces reunite into a complete card, which the performer exhibits, and if desired, passes for inspection.
