This idea was brought out by W. G. Edwards, Canadian magician, and publisher of Edwards' Monthly. I used it in my programs with good success as a means of picking up certain things in an interesting and mysterious manner.

Effect

Performer touches the tip of his wand to a silk lying on the table. Upon raising wand the silk adheres to the tip of wand.

Even rubber sponge balls can be lifted up by touching with wand.

Three cards can be freely selected and shuffled back in the deck, yet upon touching tip of wand to the top edge of deck a selected card adheres to the wand and it is readily lifted out of the deck. This is repeated with the remaining two cards.

How it is done

The method, 5 drawings and all it needs, inside the library.
